Welcome to my homepage!

My name is Sisi Zhou. I am a junior research faculty at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics starting September 2023. Previously, I was an IQIM postdoctoral scholar at California Institute of Technology, supervised by John Preskill.

I received my PhD degree in physics (concentrating on quantum information physics) from Yale University in 2021, supervised by Liang Jiang. My thesis title is “Error-corrected quantum metrology”. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Kuang Yaming Honors School at Nanjing University in 2016.

My research interests include quantum metrology, quantum error correction and the interplay between them. Selected publications of mine can be found below.

My email address is szhou1 at perimeterinstitute dot ca. See information on job opportunities here.
